About Skyhorse Publishing:

Skyhorse Publishing was launched in September 2006 by Tony Lyons, former president and publisher of the Lyons Press, and its first titles were published in March 2007. Since its founding, Skyhorse has published an eclectic and maverick list that includes history, politics, sports, rural living, humor, health and fitness, and more. In March 2011, Skyhorse was named America’s fastest-growing small publisher by Publishers Weekly. Skyhorse’s five imprints include: Skyhorse Publishing, Sky Pony Press, Arcade Publishing, Allworth Press, and Sports Publishing.  Arcade Publishing was acquired in July 2010, Sky Pony was created in November 2010, Sports Publishing was acquired in December 2010, and Allworth was acquired in January 2011. With these four new imprints joining Skyhorse, the publishing program now includes business, art, fiction, regional titles, and children’s books in addition to its core publishing categories.

Skyhorse is distributed by W. W. Norton in the United States and Thomas Allen & Son in Canada. Skyhorse also recently signed a deal with Constable & Robinson, one of England's oldest and most respected independent publishers, for distribution of its books into the United Kingdom and the European Union.
